INTRODUCTION
The Sean McCaffrey Foundation was established in March 2018. Sean was devoted to the development of young people in all aspects of life. His positive attitude and focused commitment marked him out as a fearless leader and visionary. Sean’s interest and concern for everyone he encountered was unique and distinguished him as a mentor, coach and friend.
The Foundation consists of family and friends of Sean and will be registered as a charitable foundation. All of the funds raised will be spent on the three objectives.
Funding
We receive no funding from any other source, therefore we depend totally on the generosity of community groups, businesses, committees and individuals to raise the funds necessary to continue our service. Donations therefore are always welcome.
If you wish to organise a fundraising event we would be delighted. If you are planning a fundraising event please contact a committee member in advance as occasionally a permit may be required from An Garda Siochana.

HOW THE FOUNDATION WORKS
The Sean McCaffrey Foundation’s main focus is to make a positive impact in our community.
The objectives of the Foundation are to continue Sean’s legacy by:
1. Helping young people to realise their full potential by furthering the coaching and development of football
2. Supporting animal welfare bodies
3. Supporting Renal Dialysis Patients and the Unit in Cavan General Hospital
